Designed to complement existing high school curriculum, koorieentrepreneurs.com is a resource for the study of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses in Victoria. Created in partnership with VAEAI (the peak organisation for Victorian Aboriginal Education) and powered by LaunchVic, the platform hosts stories and downloadable interviews with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander founders. Conducted with Koorie students in mind, the conversations—with eight founders of tech, food, fashion and design businesses—share detailed insights, advice, challenges, successes, and reflections on their own high school years. The stories and interviews are relevant for business studies at any level, covering topics such as raising capital, building solid legal structures, Aboriginal management styles, and balancing profit and impact. 95% of the project budget was spent with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses, with illustrations by Rubii Red and site build by NGNY, a 100% Aboriginal-owned company working to enhance the Indigenous Digital Economy.
